Yeah you did, but you were kinda preaching about GW being all about PVP and builds and not about grind and items and money and stuff... Then you indicate you want to keep the axe...
Your preaching loses a lot of its weight when you contradict it. But Anet does the same thing. Why PvP controls PvE areas, and PvP gets rewards that are PvE based will never make sense.

I have a question about the Chinese servers, do they look active? Does it look like the beta has been a success?

I still remember when the beta phase of WoW ended, they deleted everything.
But the data of open beta has been preserved.
Btw 109 continuous wins. from 5 am. till 17 pm. it's not me..

afaik because of China's censorship laws, they'll be on a completely separate server from us since they don't want their citizens possibly hearing on banned subjects from other continents.

China's just trying to protect its citizens from the evils of the rest of the world.....
At least that's what China told me to say

As understandable that different country's have different opinions and over views on laws and methods of communications. Its not likely that the Americans are going to hide subliminal messaging in the Guild Wars story.
Out of interest i wonder if ANET will have to have an official from the government clear EVERYTHING before going ahead with anything.
P.S. God bless the tank man :P

No i dont think so, we do have some sorta protections, for excample: i try to type in s**t, its not allowed, i try to type f words, its not allowed, even if i type in sexy, its not allowed as well. What 's point is, we are trying to make a better game enviorment, not to avoid the "evils" , if we do really want to aviod "evils" we would not even bother to let the guild wars came in to China

Also without letting this dissolve into a political debate - As must as this might be seen as OTT to western country's it is as much as the free media isn't actually free here.

Thats because you have the swear filter on. You can change that in options if you like...

On topic:
In Japanese case, all data of open beta was inherited without deletion.
So there's a chance you can keep your PvE progress, titles, unlock info, etc. when GW service will start in China.
You had better check Chinese GW official website for confirmation.

If we continue talking about politics, this post will get locked. Somehow it always devolves into politics when it come to China.
BTW...in Diablo Chinese people can join any server. Chinese people can join any Counterstrike server. They can play American WoW if they buy a copy. They can use any chat program and chat internationally. I know this because i live in China, used to play Wow, and I use Skype, Gmail talk, and yahoo messenger. And played Diablo.
Lets face it, the government of China is not interested in censoring game adicts. We are just not a threat to anyone... not until the artificial intelligence known as Xeres takes over the internet and it is up to a Chosen One to overthrough the tyrany.... uh... what?
About being on seperate servers...WE ARE ALL ON SEPERATE SERVERS. The server we are on depends on what is the best way for us to connect to Anet...that's a fundamental part of Anet's technology. We are also in seperate geographic-based zones as well as in-town based districts. The Chinese will play in a China zone, just like Europeans, Americans, Japanese, Koreans, and Taiwanese. But there is no reason to assume that they will be restricted from international districts or PvP/GvG.

So if Chinese GW players are not allow on the worldwide server, what about HA?
Is that mean they can go to UW & FOW anytime they like?
